Privacy policy

Veloz is run from Dublin, Ireland. This page explains what personal data we collect through tryveloz.ai, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. Questions go to brian@tryveloz.ai.

What we collect

Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 and Searchable Analytics to understand how people use this site. These tools collect usage data such as pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. They use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visitors.

Contact and booking: if you email us or book a call through our Google Calendar link, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, and anything you write. Booking is handled by Google Calendar under Google's own terms.

How we use it

We use analytics data to improve the site and understand which content works, and contact data to respond to you and run our business. Our legal bases are legitimate interest for analytics and business correspondence, and performance of a contract where you become a client. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third party advertising on this site.

Who we share it with

Our service providers process data on our behalf: Vercel hosts this site, Google provides analytics and calendar booking, and Searchable provides analytics. Some of these providers are based in the United States; transfers outside the EEA rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained per the default retention settings of the tools above. Email and booking correspondence is kept for as long as we need it to work with you or meet legal obligations, then deleted.

Cookies

Analytics only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict our processing of it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Email brian@tryveloz.ai and we will respond. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
